The company was established on September 3, 2004. It specializes in the production and sale of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage electrical porcelain products, including 35kV–800kV transformer porcelain housings, 35kV–800kV instrument transformer porcelain housings, 35kV–750kV surge arrester porcelain housings, 35kV–500kV GIS porcelain housings, 35kV–500kV cable termination porcelain housings, and 35kV–220kV SF6 circuit breaker porcelain housings. The company owns and operates two production sites with a combined area of 66,000 square metres, both conveniently located with excellent transport links. Its facilities include large ball mills, clay preparation equipment, high-speed intelligent automated gas kilns, fully automatic circulating tunnel dryers, fully automatic circulating tunnel kilns, CNC forming equipment, glazing equipment, CNC porcelain grinding equipment, and a complete suite of laboratory and testing equipment. This strong hardware base supports the company’s sustainable development. Continuous equipment upgrades and improvements have further expanded production capacity, which now stands at 45,000 tonnes per year.

Huagao places strong emphasis on technical innovation across the complete hollow porcelain housing production process. Continuous research focuses on kiln automation, waste-heat recovery and dedicated porcelain glaze formulations. Multiple utility-model and invention patents improve machining precision and yield while reducing material waste. The company has achieved particularly strong results in energy-saving kiln upgrades. In 2012, Huagao commissioned a 240m³ fully automatic energy-saving kiln, reducing energy use by more than 40%. After years of on-site refinement, 500m³, 600m³ and 800m³ large energy-saving kilns were brought into operation. These advances have accelerated the development of gas-saving technology across the porcelain bushing industry. Lower carbon emissions are accompanied by improved product quality and reduced energy consumption.
